CAROLINA PRODUCTIONS was created and is operated by Greg Thompson, originally of Columbus County in North Carolina. He started life in the media at an early age. He began entertaining by MC'ing every event that came along including beauty pageants, talent contests and County Fairs. By 17, he had started in local radio as an announcer/DJ. He attended The Carolina School of Broadcasting where he learned to write excellent radio copy, produce promotions, create excellent ads and produce events. In 1986, Greg started his own company in Wilmington, NC providing entertainment for Special Events. He eventually worked in conjuction with the Riverside Parks and Recreation Department to provide entertainment for Wilmington's Famous Riverfront Park for Special Events. In 1988, he moved to Orlando where he worked at the theme parks and attractions over several years. These venues included Medieval Times Dinner Tournament, Commodore Cruise Lines and Universal Studios Florida. More to come.... |
